Keep hair bunches perpendicular over hook shank with as little drift and flare as possible. Achieve this by stroking the dubbing up and over the wing roots. Don’t dub the thread while it lies on top of the hair roots. Take thread forward on to hook shank and dub backwards on to the wing roots.
Hook: Size 10-12 Fulling Mill All-Purpose Medium
Thread: Black
Body: Fiery-claret seal’s fur
