Trout & Salmon’s first gathering

The first Trout & Salmon gathering at Farlows brought together anglers for an evening of fishing talk, tips and camaraderie on 11 December.

New editor Pete Tyjas spoke with guests including magazine contributors Paul Procter and Dani Morey, while attendees enjoyed beer, wine, soft drinks and pizza, with the opportunity for late-night shopping.

“The event worked well,” Pete said afterwards, adding that he was pleased to see so many people who he had not met before coming together, drawn by their common love of fly-fishing in all its forms.

The gathering marks the first of several planned events around the country, where readers will have the chance to hear what is happening at the magazine, pick up fishing tips and make new friends.

Spring event in Devon announced
