2. Pant-Y-Bed-W Fishery

Pant Y Bed-W is a beautiful fishery located in a rural but accessible location. The lakes nestle in a natural bowl with woodland on three sides. The Challenger lake is stocked with rainbow and blue trout, minimum size 2lb. Carp fishing is available in the top lake. Located about five miles east of Carmarthen and two miles from the A48, just past the National Botanic Gardens of Wales.

3. Aldin Grange

Situated in 20 acres of picturesque and peaceful farmland. Aldin Grange boasts five well-stocked lakes brimming with fish — two trout (fly only), two coarse and one competition (match). The trout-fishing lakes are Troutmasters waters and fly only (barbless). There are three types of trout: rainbow, brown and blue. Only the rainbow trout may be killed and taken. The trout vary in size from 2lb to 15lb.

4. Lakedown Trout Fishery

Lakedown Trout Fishery is situated in a secluded Wealden valley with scenic views and no visible signs of habitation. It was originally designed and created in 1981 by actor and rock legend Roger Daltrey. The four spring-fed lakes, which total approximately 20 acres, have an abundance of aquatic fly life.

7. Chigborough Farm

Chigborough Farm and Fisheries is a rural oasis on the outskirts of the historic market town of Maldon in Essex. Its trout and coarse lakes are open all year.
